Personal Statement
Having a baby is a very special time in our lives. For some women it’s exciting, for others it’s challenging and a time of anxiety – mostly it’s a bit of both. I’m passionate about my Doula role and I’d be delighted to support you to achieve whatever you hope for from this intensely personal and unique experience. I’m from Zimbabwe originally but came here in my teens. My early career was spent in the corporate world and then I ran my own dog walking and boarding business for some years before becoming a Doula. I’m a very caring, calm and down-to-earth person and I love the outdoors. My two children are all grown up now. I had difficult pregnancies and births, but I took great pleasure in breastfeeding them both. Whilst pregnant I helped to start up aqua-natal classes in Barnet and also promoted breastfeeding in the Borough.
