Personal Statement
Exciting you are considering a Doula! It would be a privilege to support you through your unique birthing journey. I will stay by your side, listen without judgement and share information to empower you to make choices. I am also available postnatally providing emotional and practical care whilst you recover and adjust to your growing family. Originally from Zimbabwe I have lived in London for over 30 years. I have two wonderful young adult children and experienced two quite different births and postnatal periods. Whilst intense and tough at times, birthing and caring for my babies has been my most joyful and transformative chapter. Parallel to being a Doula I am a Speech and Language Therapist working within the NHS with children and families. The direct and hands on approach meeting individual needs and supporting best outcomes brings many professional and personal rewards. I love being in nature, singing and yoga.
