I’m Deva and I’m a gender and body inclusive doula. I’m queer and disabled living and working from Glasgow. I wanted to be a doula as I’m passionate about the diversity of birthing bodies and the needs of all pregnant people. I provide fertility support and pregnancy and birth support to all those in Glasgow and can provide digital support to people from across Scotland and the rest of the UK. I know many groups of people can feel misunderstood, unrepresented, pigeon-holed or even feel completely forgotten about when planning their wants and experiences in treatment, pregnancy or birth. I wanted to create Braw Birth as a doula service as all pregnant people and families deserve to feel confident and assured of the support they are receiving.
