I have been passionate about working in the birth world since 2013 when my first daughter was born. I have had 6 children now, and a variety of birth experiences, and am passionate about supporting expectant and new parents as they navigate the UK maternity system and the early days of parenthood. As an experienced Paramedic, I love sharing my passion for First Aid with families wanting to learn. I am also heavily involved in the voluntary sector, both as a birth worker with the Happy Baby Community Charity and as a Girl Guide Leader. In the early 2000s, I lived in Bolivia for a few years and am proud to say that I remain a competent Spanish speaker. When I’m not working (or taking another training course to develop my skills!) I love spending time with my young family and visiting local beauty spots where we enjoy geocaching.
