I am very passionate about birthing, babies and everything connected to birthing itself. I’ve enjoyed supporting the parents of the births I have had the honour to attend so far. I very much enjoy my job and hope to go on doing this for a long time to come. I believe we should all be free to make our own choices. It’s important to me that those choices should be informed choices. I am supportive and loyal and I am non-judgmental, I accept people as I find them, by the same token I expect to be accepted for what and who I am. As a birth doula, I support whatever choices the mother/parents choose regarding the labour/birthing process. As a postnatal doula, I am there to ensure Mum (and Dad/partner) have time to bond with the new arrival, by helping with some day-to-day light chores and offering a listening ear and support where required.
