Hello! I’m Jo, a Cambridgshire based mentored Birth and Postnatal Doula and an Association of Breastfeeding Mothers Breastfeeding Counsellor. I have worked with families for near 20 years gathering lots of experiences and skills, but I always knew that something wasn’t quite right working for a large organisation. I felt so passionate about empowering families to make choices that were informed and right for them, for their own family unit, circumstances and feelings, not anyone else’s. I wanted to provide families with the continuity of care that they deserved. Attending Developing Doulas has finally allowed me to gather all the tools I have collected and direct them in the most wonderful of directions allowing me to support people in the way that is individual and personal.
