Personal Statement
I am currently not working but hope to again soon.
Hi – I am guessing you are pregnant so warm congratulations & welcome to my profile. I have always adored newborns & chatting about birth, hence I trained & travelled the world as a Norland Maternity Nurse before settling down in SW London as a solo mum. My sons birth wasn’t the easiest and when I discovered doulas I thought ‘oh why didn’t I know about them and have one’! I went on to train as a doula & then later to be one of the first NHS doulas at Chelsea & Westminster hospital’s Birth Centre where I still work part time 9 years later. I do enjoy this work but find my private clients most rewarding. I enjoy the real connection & continuity with pregnant couples; from the interview, the antenatal meetings, the labour & birth right through to the postnatal time. Please do contact me whatever your query & happy pregnancy.

Reviews
We booked Kayla very last minute but it didnt seem to matter. We gelled instantly and she was just fantastic.
We found Kayla just wonderful. She seemed to understand all the problems and worries we both had - we couldn't recommend highly enough.
You wont go wrong if you book Kayla - she was absolutely fantastic with our twin caesarean birth.
