There’s no doubt that pregnancy and birth are daunting and challenging, but also, exhilarating. And when you’re treated with respect: empowering. It’s a big privilege for me to walk alongside women, supporting them as they make their life changing transition to motherhood. It’s why I became a doula; it’s a woman centered profession and that’s really what I’m about.
