When I had my daughter in daughter in 2017 I hadn’t thought any further than the birth. I didn’t prepare myself for that transition. When I found myself struggling, I didn’t know where to get support. There wasn’t a great deal of support available to me. When you are finding things difficult with a newborn you want help fast because you want to be able to enjoy that time. So, I felt called to train so that I could support other new parents. My business is ‘The Mummy Nanny’ because that is what I aim to provide – a support and nurturing guide for mums to be and new mums – offering postnatal planning as well as postnatal support. I love watching the transformation of expectant parents who might feel anxious or unsure of themselves into confident and empowered parents who know how to trust in their parenting voice.
